VWC defeats E/H 3-2 in ODAC
E/H gets out to an early 2-0 lead over VWC in the first round of the ODAC but VWC wins the last 3-games for the win. This concludes the season for the Wasps with a 14-15 record.
E/H goes into ODAC Tourn. with 5th seed.
#5 E/H (14-14, 7-4) will play #4 Va. Wesleyan (18-7, 8-3) this Friday at 5 pm in the first round of the ODAC Volleyball Tournament being held at Guilford College. The winner of this match will play the winner of the W/L vs. RMWC match on Saturday at 10:30 am.
 
Kathi Boatright featured in Newspaper!
Senior Kathi Boatright was featured in the Nov. 4th issue of the Bristol Herald Courier.
 
E/H defeats Salem, 3-0
Emory / Henry wins its third match in a row with a 3-0 road win at Salem College. E/H finishes out its regurlar season with a 14-14 record.
 
Boatright breaks ODAC record!!!
After collecting 67 digs on the week, E/H Senior, Kathi Boatright breaks the ODAC career digs record. She currently has 1619 on her career. This season Boatright ranks 2nd in the ODAC with 5.61 digs per game. She also leads the Wasps with a .983 serving percentage and with 33 service aces. Boatright's ODAC record was formerly held by Jennifer Pue-Gilchrist of Guilford (1999-2002).
E/H splits ODAC matches over the weekend.

Results:
Emory / Henry defeats EMU 3-0 (30-28, 31-29, 30-20) ....... Roanoke defeats EMU 3-0 (30-24, 30-27, 30-25) ....... Roanoke defeats E/H 3-2 (37-35, 30-25, 26-30, 23-30, 15-9)

E/H is now 11-12 overall and 5-4 in the ODAC
E/H will host Virginia-Wise this Tuesday night at 6:30 pm

E/H goes 2-3 over fall break
E/H defeated Lynchburg and Wilmington, OH 3-1 while losing to Bluffton, OH, Huntingdon, AL and Thomas More, KY over fall break.

E/H gets its 4th ODAC win of the season and are now 8-8 overall as they defeated Lynchburg College 3-games to one. Leaders for the Wasps were Sarah Beth Blackwell with 16 kills, Emily Myers 54 assists and Kathi Boatright 26 digs. E/H will stay on the road for fall break as they travel to Wilmington, OH for a Tri-Match on Friday and then to Thomas More in Ky., also for a Tri-Match.

Emory / Henry wins its second in a row by a 3-0 count. E/H's record is now 6-7 overall and 2-2 in the ODAC. Leaders for the Wasps in Tuesday nights match were Emily Myers 18-assists, Amanda Hartline 9-kills, Emily Tolley 9-kills, Sarah Beth Blackwell 8-kills and 13-digs, Whitney Erwin 12-digs and Kathi Boatright 12 digs. E/H will travel to Randolph-Macon for a Tri-match on Saturday with RMC and Bridgewater.

EMORY – A half dozen local high school standouts have converged on Emory / Henry College to help the Wasps volleyball team.
E/H-3, Va. Intermont-1
E/H defeats local rival Va. Intermont 3-1 in volleyball action this Thursday night in Bristol. Game scores were (28-30, 30-18, 30-25, 30-22). Sarah Beth Blackwell led the Wasps with 20 kills on the night while Emily Myers had 42 assists. Sheri Opetaia-Williamson and Amanda Hartline each had 6 blocks. E/H will host Maryville this coming Tuesday night at 6:00 pm.

E/H plays hard and well but loses to Div. II opponent Tusculum College (30-27, 23-30, 25-30, 30-25, 11-15). E/H is now 3-3 on the season with two losses coming to scholarship schools. Emily Myers led the Wasps with 14 kills and 34 assists. Amanda Hartline had 13 kills and Sarah Beth Blackwell had 11 kills. Savanna Lowe led E/H with 5 blocks, while Kathi Boatright led with 27 digs. E/H will play at Va. Intermont this Thursday night.
